Adam Morgenthaler

Recognizing the challenges faced by pharmaceutical companies in final product filling, Adam leveraged his experience in R&D/PD, engineering, facility design, and capital project management to invent a novel solution. With his breadth of experience allowing him to see the pain points from the perspective of various stakeholders, Adam has leveraged his experience with custom equipment design and single-use assembly implementation, to bring together a group of experts to design and commercialize a system to address these issues. The Syn-Fill product benefits support the success of customer companies by streamlining their filling processes, but also have the broader impact of improving the safety of drugs produced and lowering development costs. The Syn-Fill system has the potential to revolutionize how therapies are brought to market, by reducing timelines, costs, complexity, and facility requirements; which puts robust filling solutions within reach where they otherwise might not have been.

Adam’s vision is that the Syn-Fill line of systems will become the new industry gold standard for small batch filling. Motivated by the mission to ensure parenteral drugs are filled safely, regardless of batch size, clinical trial phase, or location; Adam launched Phaser with Co-Founders from Lucid Automation (with whom he has great success with in design and implementation of custom pharmaceutical production equipment) to bring the Syn-Fill line of fillers to the market.
